Viewers of Smoke and Mirrors are surprisedĀ that Angela Sithole, who left the e.tv soapieĀ as Nthabiseng, is returning.
Inside Angela Sithole’s Return
Jabu McDonald, an entertainment pundit, reports that actress Angela Sithole will return to Smoke and Mirrors.
“Angela Sithole is coming back on #etvsmokeandmirrors but will be playing a new character with a different twist,” Mcdonald said.
This comes after Sithole’s character, Nthabiseng, was slain by Thandiswa in late 2023 and was written out of the series.
TVSA claimed in November 2023 that Nthabiseng intended to kill Thandiswa and then commit suicide, but her plot backfired.
The teasers also stated that Nthabiseng discovered Thandiswa’s affair with Caesar. Caesar was married to her closest friend, Virginia, at the time.
Thandiswa and Caeser killed Nthabiseng on Thursday, November 23, and buried her body.
Nthabiseng was an educator who married Thandiswa’s baby daddy, Sakhile, in the fictional village of Emnyameni.
Viewers of the show are wondering if Sithole would depict a ghost or twin sister after her character, Nthabiseng, is slain.
‘Smoke And Mirrors’ Actress Role
Angela SitholeĀ departed Smoke and Mirrors to join Mzansi Magic’s crime drama series In The Dock in 2023. She portrayed Lungi Olifant with seasoned actor Dumisani Mbebe, who played her husband, Loyiso Olifant. The otherĀ actors were Scandal! star Jerry Mofokeng, who played Khulile Motaung, and Gomora’s Katlego Danke.
The show also had actors Ayakha Ntunja, Toka Ntunjana, Felicia Mahambehlala, Lorraine Moropa, Tshepo Maseko, and Kwanele Mthethwa.
Giyani: Land of Blood actress and musician Yvonne Chaka Chaka also appeared on the show.
DStv revealed that The Milton Empire’s Mzansi Magic criminal thriller, In The Dock, will air on Sunday, November 19.
